How long has PAIL Solicitors been established?
PAIL Solicitors began as a boutique London law practice in March 2009 and subsequently incorporated as PAIL Solicitors Limited in December 2021.
Its founder, Peter Adediran, has worked in internet law since 1999, bringing more than 25 years of experience across intellectual property, digital media, technology and commercial law.
How do I get started?
Send us the key facts, what you want to achieve and any relevant deadline. We review the information provided to determine whether the matter is suitable for PAIL Solicitors.
If we need more information, we will ask for it. If the matter is suitable, we will provide details for booking a fixed-fee consultation.
What does the initial consultation include?
The consultation includes advance review of the relevant material and preparation by the solicitor, followed by a one-hour phone or video consultation.
During the consultation, we consider the key legal issues, risks and options, answer your questions and advise on the most appropriate way forward.
Does the consultation include further legal work?
The consultation is a defined first stage of legal work. Any additional work is agreed separately rather than being included automatically within the consultation.
This may include written advice, drafting, negotiations, correspondence, dispute work, enforcement or implementation, depending on what is required.
Can you deal with urgent or time-sensitive matters?
We can often accommodate urgent matters, depending on the nature of the issue and our availability. Please make any deadline clear when submitting your enquiry.
Where timing is critical, we will let you know whether an expedited consultation can be offered.
Will my enquiry be confidential?
Yes. We treat enquiries in confidence and carry out the appropriate conflict and regulatory checks before accepting instructions.
Please do not send highly sensitive original documents unless we have requested them or confirmed the appropriate way to provide them.
Can you assist with contracts, disputes or court proceedings?
Yes. We advise on commercial contracts, intellectual property, technology, digital media and appropriate civil disputes and proceedings in England and Wales.
Where a matter requires specialist advocacy or advice in another jurisdiction, we can consider whether counsel or an appropriate overseas lawyer should also be involved.
What happens after the consultation?
If additional legal work is needed, we will explain what we recommend and provide a separate scope and fee before that work begins.
Depending on the matter, this may include written advice, drafting, negotiations, correspondence, dispute work, enforcement or ongoing legal support.
Do you offer ongoing legal support?
Yes. For businesses and clients who need continuing legal support, we offer tailored retainer arrangements based on the type and frequency of work and the level of access required.
