Each retainer is clearly scoped in advance so that you understand the level of access, monthly capacity and legal work included.
Plan 01
Solicitor Access Retainer
For founders, entrepreneurs, individuals and businesses who want regular direct access to an experienced solicitor for practical oral legal advice as issues arise.
What's Included
- Up to 2 hours of oral legal advice per month
- Maximum of 4 consultations per month
- Maximum 30 minutes per consultation
- Telephone or scheduled video consultations
- Advice across PAIL Solicitors' core practice areas
- Priority access for retainer clients
- Continuity with a solicitor familiar with your business or circumstances
Monthly Retainer
£750 + VAT
This is an oral advice retainer only. It does not include document review, drafting, written legal advice, legal research, correspondence with third parties, negotiations, representation or litigation. Unused consultation time does not carry forward to subsequent months. Any substantive legal work will be separately scoped and agreed before work begins.

Monthly Retainer
From £2,000 + VAT
Monthly capacity and included work are agreed at the outset according to the anticipated level of support. Larger disputes, substantial transactions, litigation, specialist counsel and work outside the agreed monthly scope may be separately quoted or charged at an agreed rate.

Outside General Counsel
Senior ongoing legal support for organisations requiring an embedded external legal function, regular strategic input and continuity across significant commercial matters.
